INSURANCE OF THE DEDUCTIBLE OF THE RENTED VEHICLE

Many of my clients travel abroad and and upon arrival their first steps lead them to a rental car company. The rental price already includes a premium with a relatively high deductible. I recommend my clients to extend the insurance and have a zero deductible. The premium prices for this insurance on rental websites or at rental counters are in the lower hundreds of euros (depending on the rental period). Adding a deductible to a rental vehicle can also be covered under travel insurance but the limits are insufficient (usually CZK 30,000).

A very elegant solution for travellers who have a rental car abroad for more than a week is insurance with an annual period , the price of which is currently around CZK 2,300 (approx. 95 Euro) and a limit of CZK 175,000.

This insurance policy be concluded from the comfort of home online. However, I recommend my clients to take it out within the framework of our cooperation and without any price increase. In the event of a claim, it is always more convenient for clients to leave this to the broker.
